I have been able to get a good amount of tools in my shop over the last year. I’m not a full time woodworker, and because I also have another job that supports my cost of living, I’m able to put everything I make from the woodworking back as investments in tools in my shop. It has been all hard work, but you’re welcome to make a comment about how fortunate I am to have a shop full of woodworking tools that magically have appeared overnight. But just know that I take care of a dayjob, work in the workshop in the evenings and edit videos for Youtube many nights.

I love how you did this with no huge equipment you used hand tools instead of big wood turning machines genius

Wanted to say an honest 10/10 on the visual guide of running the piece through joiner given I have no experience I have been curious about how it works on uneven pieces like you showed. But not just demonstrating you nailed the actual content along side the with the editing. Just wanted to make sure I vocalized some appreciation to your work. Especially in the little details

Name : Order made_Original Chair
Material : White oak
Size : 426*504*800H
Finish : Auro + Leinos Natural Oil

Maker : Hyun Seung Lee

In fact, the chair is a piece of furniture that can see some symbolism
or inclination
Due to the difficulty of manufacturing process, design, practical labor, etc.
It seems that production has been avoided.

When we first made the chair, we worked the curved part of the chair with our hands.
Rather than the completion of the furniture, I thought a lot about whether
I could sell it like this.

It still takes a lot of time to produce, but rather than the chair
More systematic and stable production is now possible.

At present, the backrest angle and curvature, the parts that touch the body, etc. I'm making high completion.

I think something I love about this is that he didn't force himself to have to rely on everything from nature, it looks like maybe his grandparents or himself went out and bought some things to help him on his journey, like tools and concrete powder and other helpful survival equipment, even a razor to cut his hair. It just makes it feel more realistic in a sense, and he is very open about the tools he used showing them in many camera shots clearly and demonstrating the use. This is just a masterpiece of his entire 3 year journey, so much respect.

About

I think one of the things that is essential for happiness in life, or at least for non-sadness, is producing something. I guess that's why I spend so much time and agony writing books. But working on carpentry is sort of like all the pleasure with none of the agony.
